We are a non-profit educational organization and we work to provide great value for your unique BCI experience. Please see each program page for current tuition and application fees.Tuition for all 2026 programs, except Tanglewood, include housing, all or most meals, access to fine rehearsal and concert venues, and the opportunity to work with world-class faculty, soloists, and conductors. Travel to and from the event location is on your own. Tuition is based on double occupancy. Each week has various single supplement upgrades which are made available after acceptance into the program. Any exceptions are noted under each program description. Application fees are non-refundable, however if we are not able to offer you a spot in at least one program, we will return your fee.
Discounts
First time participants (individuals who have not yet attended a BCI program) are eligible for a Newcomer Discount of 25% off the standard tuition fee, along with waived application fees. Singers ages 18-45 are eligible for a Next Generation Discount of 35% off the standard tuition fee, along with waived application fees. Discounts cannot be combined; the greater discount applies.
Next Gen Scholarships
In order to reduce the financial barrier to participation, generous donors have provided funding for partial merit scholarships prioritizing Next Generation singers ages 18-45. These are in addition to the Next Generation discount and will total an approximate 65% reduction in tuition. The scholarship application is available as part of our online application process and does not require personal financial information. Scholarships are limited and must be applied for by Dec. 1. Awards will be announced with acceptance decisions and will be applied to the tuition amount due. We prioritize scholarships for our U.S. based programs. Please contact shager@berkshirechoral.org for more information.
Non-singer tuition
Designed for spouses and partners of singers, this fee includes the same items as standard tuition, minus participation in the chorus in rehearsals and concert. Non-singers may observe rehearsals and attend classes, participate in tours and social events, and receive a free concert ticket. Housing and meals with our group requires non-singer registration status.
Commuter tuition
Commuter tuition includes the same items as standard tuition, minus accommodations. Commuters are included in our meal plan to encourage socialization, unless otherwise indicated in the program description. A commuter is anyone attending a BCI week who wishes to secure their own accommodations (hotel, their own home, etc.) outside of the chosen BCI venue and commute back and forth for rehearsals. Please note that sometimes our venues restrict availability of the commuter option; if one is not listed, this is why.
Travel is not included in any of the tuition levels.
Here is our cancellation policy.
