Favorite Musical Experiences: Most recently, finally seeing Hamilton live in the theater after memorizing the sound track. CD Release show for my second cd, The Way That I Feel, in 2010.
Hobbies/Interests: Walking on the beach, gardening, knitting, reading fiction, watching amazing television and movies, songwriting, spending time with family and friends, going to musical theater shows, traveling abroad.
My idea of happiness: Hanging out with my husband, friends & family singing and playing guitars on a late afternoon after a day at the beach.
Personal Motto: The meaning of life is to live…
Unusual fact: I snap my fingers using my pinkie because I never learned how to do it with my middle finger like most people.
Why BCI Matters to Me: Being in a group of other singers during a final concert, after all the hard work and rehearsing, and not just hearing the music you’re making but viscerally feeling the music and having the hair on the back of your arms stand up… that feeling of pure joy while making music is what BCI enables people to experience together. It doesn’t happen every day so to be able to support an organization that makes that joy possible, is the essence of why I’m on the board.
