David Yaw is a Senior Software Engineer for a small consulting company called C Speed. David works as the technical lead for projects with other developers. His degree is in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, with a minor in Music. He currently resides in Syracuse, NY.

In his singing life, David started singing in school choruses, and he currently sings with three choruses: Syracuse University Oratorio Society, the Syracuse Pops Chorus, and the Finger Lakes Choral Festival. SUOS and Pops both perform regularly with Symphoria, the local symphony in Syracuse. David also sings occasionally with the Rochester Oratorio Society, and has sung in the past with the Syracuse Opera and a yearly Bach celebration.

David is on the board of directors for the Syracuse Pops Chorus. He currently serves as Secretary and Personnel Manager and was the first President of the board when the chorus was founded as a stand-alone entity in 2013. David was previously on the board of the Syracuse University Oratorio Society.
