Deke Sharon, the dynamic guru of modern a cappella singing and arranging, was vocal producer for all 3 Pitch Perfect movies and 5 seasons of NBC’s The Sing Off. This fun and intensive long-weekend workshop will provide a deep dive into today’s world of vocal harmony, exploring singing styles from Doo-wop to jazz, and Broadway to contemporary pop hits. Deke’s arrangements will include songs by The Beatles, Kelly Clarkson, U2, Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus, and Eric Clapton.

Tuition includes: 3 nights lodging based on double occupancy, all meals, post-concert party, rehearsals, and practice audio files (sent in March). This workshop does not feature a public performance, however friends and family are welcome to watch a final showcase on the last afternoon.

Dormitory housing is in modern, air-conditioned dormitories with private baths. Elevator access is available. ADA rooms are available upon request. A single bedroom supplement option is available on a space-available basis. A commuter option is available for local singers and for those who wish to stay off campus. The campus meal plan is included in all tuitions to encourage shared learning and social experiences.

All meals from Thursday dinner through Sunday breakfast are included.  Dining service can meet the needs of vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan diets.

Accessibility

This campus location requires a moderate amount of walking between venues. Walking distance between housing and dining is 0.2 miles. Walking distance between dining and the rehearsal venue is approximately 0.4 miles. All paths are paved or brick and ADA accessible. All buildings including dormitory have elevators. Handicapped parking spots are available near each venue.

Travel to Endicott College is not included. Boston Logan Airport is 17 miles south. It is accessible by MBTA Commuter Rail.
